The Proposal

Dear Amie,
 
They say time waits for no one. They say live every day like it's your last. That "if you know, you know". I fully believed that was just cliche movie talk, saved for the romcoms of the world. Until I met you. You came in and swept me off my feet since the first day we started talking. Your bubbliness, your playful energy, the way you understood my humor.. it's something I've never encountered before. So I started to think, maybe it's not just reserved for movie characters. Ever since you've been mine, my heart has been full, and my soul satisfied.
 
You're my twin flame. You're everything that I embody in spirit, split into another person. The gentle way you love me, the kind way you reassure me, the playful way you challenge me to get out of my comfort zone and learn to fly.. is truly remarkable. There's no one who's been a closer match to me in my whole life, and I say that will full confidence. 
 
It is with that, that I see no reason to delay it any more. We didn't want to rush.. but life has a funny way of giving you 1... or 2... or 100 signs that you're just meant to be together for life. 
 
So.. Amie Windsor.. will you marry me?
